Book VIII: The Cry of Lost Souls

The Heroes of Silverhall are broken, their quest to discover the long lost Darkforge and destroy the Ba'athrils and the Wyrmfang lies in near ruin. As some journey north back towards the Elven lands bearing ill news and dark spoils, others head south toward the Duchy of Westmarch, where they must honor the legacy of a fallen hero by facing down the evil that is destined to rise from the shadows...

Book IX: Shackled City

It is being called a new Time of Troubles. Once respected for its stability and strength, the kingdom of Cormyr is tearing itself apart from within, while on its borders chaos festers and grows. Countless evils stir when once they slept, and power and decadence tempts those who have been waiting for the perfect moment to reveal themselves. As hundreds flee to the refuge of Silverhall, war begins to boil, and threatens to erupt...

In the Southlands, the troubles of the Northern kingdoms seem distant and trivial. Here, amoung the wild-cut Border Kingdoms, men are largely free from the machinations of tyrants and governments, as power and wealth is there to be won by any who prove themselves strong and able enough to claim it.

In the city of Cauldron, nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano, a group of would-be heroes comes together to seek their fortunes and destinies. Are their exploits to become the tall tales of legend, or the whispered warnings to those that would follow? Their first true challenge lies ahead of them, hidden in the dark alleyways and darker secrets of the Shackled City.
