Sigurd’s Journal: A Murder of Ravens

It was no easy task to make our way out of the dungeon. Not only did we learn the value of keeping good maps, but a camp of Black Talons also surrounded us. Luckily, Alain stalled enough to keep us from combat and focus on the return of the girl and evils we fought within.

I revealed my status among the Isadar and requested private audience with Commander NoRvik. There, I used the Dragon's Charm to ensorcell him and explained that our party had been allowed to escape in order that we may track Trevon back to Silverhall. He agreed to aid in our escape, yet make it not look so. Kasrick our dragon companion provided a distraction whereby we seized horses and fled.

I am not sure what befell the rest of the party at this point. Alain gave me the apple, and Hornwood and I went to Dem Mackel's. The healer's home had been ransacked, and Trevon and all occupants were gone. I think the elf and paladin were to go to HuCreol's home and return the girl, and Tsaran may have escaped as he went to visit the grave of his fallen comrade. But then the Black Talons set upon the town, and we had to flee.
